Following a recent team change, we are looking for a skilled and motivated CNC Operator to join our clients manufacturing team on a permanent basis. In this role, you will operate a range of CNC machines to support and enhance production capabilities. Your primary objective will be to produce high-quality components while maximising spindle up time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate high-speed CNC machines for milling, drilling, tapping, grinding, and related tasks
  • Oversee and operate additional machine shop equipment as required
  • Ensure all necessary tooling, fixtures, and CNC programs are prepared before starting production
  • Accurately record production data, including quantities and scrap, on relevant documentation
  • Maintain high standards of quality and output throughout the production process
  • Interpret mechanical drawings and specifications to understand job requirements
  • Perform basic program edits and manage tool tables
  • Take full ownership of component quality and associated records
  • Monitor, check, and replace tooling and cutters as needed
  • Load raw materials and components into machines
  • Monitor and refill lubricant levels
  • Apply knowledge of 3-axis and 4-axis CNC machining and Renishaw probing systems
  • Adhere to all company safety procedures and operational protocols

  • Transition to a 4-on, 4-off shift pattern after training roughly 6 months dependant
