- Pay: £43,160 per annum plus circa £3000 shift premium = £46,160 per annum + overtime = earnings of £50000 and upwards achievable (overtime paid at 1.5 Mon-Sat and double on Sundays, however Sundays not likely)
- Holidays and Benefits: 24 days holiday + bank holidays, rising to 25 after year 1 and 26 after 2 years, Healthcare cash plan, Pension is 3.5% employer 4.5% employee.
Overview:
Working in large manufacturing business that have sites across the globe, we now require an Mechanical Fitter to join the team.
Key responsibilities of the Mechanical Fitter role:
- To maintain service and repair all automated plant machinery to minimise production down time.
- Provide technical support on all projects, installations and breakdowns
The ideal candidate / Mechanical Fitter may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:
- Previous experience working in a mechanical role - competent changing like for like for like parts - stripping and rebuilding machinery.
