We're looking for an experienced Ruminant Nutritionist Sales Advisor to join a growing team. This role combines technical nutrition expertise with commercial responsibility, helping farmers improve herd performance while growing a strong customer base.

Location: Carlisle (field-based)

Hours: Monday to Friday - 8am - 5pm

Salary: Depending on experience

This is an exciting position to join a company who is a leading supplier of animal feed and going from strength to strength in the industry.

What you'll be doing:

  • Providing high-quality nutrition advice across dairy and beef systems
  • Formulating rations and improving herd performance using farm data
  • Managing and growing your own portfolio of customers
  • Identifying and converting new business opportunities
  • Building strong on-farm relationships and delivering measurable results
  • Mentoring junior team members and sharing technical knowledge
  • Great customer service
  • Ability to handle situations professionally, effectively and proactively

What we're looking for:

  • Proven experience in ruminant nutrition and livestock systems
  • Strong commercial awareness and account management experience
  • Confident advising farmers and influencing on-farm decisions
  • Practical, hands-on understanding of farm operations
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
  • Full UK driving licence
