We're looking for a practical, hands-on individual to support on-farm services, sales activity, and day-to-day business operations. This varied role combines technical farm work, customer support, and administrative tasks to help deliver a high level of service. This is an exciting position to join a company who is a leading supplier of animal feed and going from strength to strength in the industry.
Location: Field-based (Cumbria, South Scotland or Lancashire preferred)
Hours: Monday to Friday
What you'll be doing:
- Carrying out on-farm tasks (mobility scoring, calf weighing, BCS, silage sampling, muck sieving)
- Collecting and recording accurate herd and nutrition data
- Supporting product sales and building relationships with customers
- Assisting with customer enquiries and general sales support
- Helping organise shows and events
- Supporting admin tasks and maintaining accurate records
What we're looking for:
- Experience working with dairy and/or beef systems
- Confident handling livestock and working on farm
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Good attention to detail and basic IT skills
- Full UK driving licence
- RoMS trained (or willing to be trained)
- Great customer service skills
- Ability to work on your own and handle issues effectively and efficiently
