Hours: Monday-Thursday 8:30am-5:00pm, Friday 8:30am-4:00pm
On behalf of our client, we are recruiting an Assistant Despatch Manager for their manufacturing and distribution site in Bradford. You will support the Despatch Manager in ensuring the smooth operation of the department and play a key role in managing staff, stock, and deliveries.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, allocate, and monitor daily workloads, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Ensure goods are packaged correctly and dispatched on time, in full.
- Manage delivery and collection schedules and liaise with Sales and Admin teams to confirm delivery dates.
- Assist with stock management, ensuring accurate records and timely processing of adjustments.
- Support and supervise the team, motivating, training, and maintaining discipline as required.
- Deputise for the Despatch Manager during their absence.
- Drive Counterbalance FLT as required and maintain H&S standards.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, ISO9001/ISO14001 standards, and promote recycling and waste minimisation.
