CNC OPERATOR

Working in partnership with a leading manufacturer in Beverley, we are recruiting an experienced and motivated CNC Operator. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing manufacturing business offering a competitive pay rate of £13.50 per hour, regular working hours, and the opportunity to secure long-term employment.

Shift Pattern / Working Hours

  • Monday to Thursday: 6:00am - 3:00pm
  • Friday: 6:00am - 12:00pm
  • Early finish every Friday

Start Date / Duration

The CNC Operator role is a Temp to Perm position with immediate starts available. However, should you have a notice period with your current employer, we will work around this.

Job Description

As a CNC Operator, you will play a key role within the production team, operating CNC machinery to manufacture high-quality products to customer specifications.

Day-to-day duties will include:

  • Setting up and operating CNC machinery.
  • Loading MDF, timber and other materials onto machines.
  • Monitoring machine performance and making minor adjustments where required.
  • Reading and interpreting production drawings and specifications.
  • Performing quality checks to ensure products meet company standards.
  • Maintaining accurate production records.
  • Carrying out routine machine cleaning and basic maintenance checks.
  • Following all Health & Safety procedures.
  • Supporting other manufacturing activities as required.

The Successful Candidate

To be considered for the position of CNC Operator, we are looking for candidates who:

  • Have previous experience operating CNC machinery within a manufacturing environment.
  • Can read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Have excellent attention to detail and quality standards.
  • Are reliable with excellent timekeeping.
  • Can work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Have a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Are committed to maintaining a safe working environment.

Experience working with wood products, MDF, or panel processing machinery would be advantageous but is not essential. Whilst previous CNC experience would be advantageous, we recognise that many candidates have developed transferable skills operating other types of manufacturing machinery. We would also be interested in hearing from candidates who have experience operating other machinery and equipment, including:
