We\βre looking for a Electronic Assembly Operative to join our well established and respected client based in Leicester on a full-time, temporary ongoing basis.
Due to the nature of our client\βs business, prior to starting there will be a vetting process and once this has been completed and successful, an immediate start will be expected.
Hours: 07:00 β 16:30 Monday β Thursday and 08:00 β 12:00 Friday
Salary: Β£12.21 per hour
The Role:
Your duties will include the manufacture and repair of electronic monitoring products. Key responsibilities include:
- Mechanical aptitude for assembly and disassembly of electronic devices and modules.
- Capable with training, of operating a variety of powered tools used in the production of electronic monitoring equipment (to include Pillar Drills, Ultrasonic Welders, Electronic Test Equipment, Bar-Code Scanners, Labelling and Weighing Machines).
- Typical daily duties necessitate the ability to work machinery repetitively whilst maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail. This could involve standing for long periods of time.
- Low level soldering and solder station tool maintenance.
- The ability to work as an individual or as part of a team is essential.
- Experience of working in a manufacturing environment is a distinct advantage.

To be considered for this role, you will have experience with a similar Assembly Operative role within a manufacturing environment. Additional skills required include:
- Good time keeping and attendance.
- Able to communicate well with colleagues.
- Hard working and conscientious.
- Must adopt safe working practices at all times.
