We are looking for an experienced Alarm Engineer to join a busy team in the North East, specialising in new installations, repairs, and maintenance of alarm systems. Candidates with experience in Fire Alarms, Intruder Alarms, or both are welcome to apply.

Role Responsibilities

  • Install new fire alarm and/or intruder alarm systems
  • Carry out repairs and maintenance on existing systems
  • Conduct site surveys and system design for new installations
  • Test, commission, and ensure compliance with current British Standards
  • Complete site documentation and handover reports
  • Provide excellent service and liaise directly with clients

Requirements

  • Proven experience with Fire, Intruder, or combined alarm systems
  • Ability to work independently and manage installation and repair tasks
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills
