Job Purpose:
As an Alarm Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of alarm systems for both domestic and commercial clients. You will ensure all work meets company standards, industry regulations, and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, test, and commission alarm and security systems.
- Conduct routine maintenance and service checks on existing systems.
- Diagnose and repair faults promptly and efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and health & safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate service records and complete required documentation.
- Provide excellent customer service and technical support on-site.
- Assist in emergency call-outs when required.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Alarm Engineer or similar role.
- NVQ/City & Guilds qualification in Electrical Installation or equivalent is desirable.
- Knowledge of fire alarm, intruder alarm, and CCTV systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and technical aptitude.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
