Our Client is one of the UK's largest independent cash-and-carry wholesalers, operating a network of large depots across London, the Midlands and the Northwest. The business is family-owned and supplies over 12,000 product lines to independent retailers, including groceries, soft drinks, confectionery, household goods, alcohol and tobacco.
Responsibilities:
- Visit existing Customers daily across London to build strong relationships and understand their Business needs.
- Analyse Customer buying patterns and suggest tailored product and merchandising solutions.
- Identify and onboard new independent retailers across London.
- Promote their product range, pricing, promotions, and service advantages.
- Work closely with depot and marketing teams to ensure POS and promotional materials are correctly implemented.
- Support new product launches and promotional campaigns at store level.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Buying, Sales, Marketing, Depot Operations) to ensure customer satisfaction and commercial success.
About you:
- Full UK driving licence (essential).
- Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Previous Sales/Account Management Experience (preferred not essential).
- Commercially aware and customer-focused.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
