About the Role
Our Apprentice Employment Agency (AEA) provides national apprentice employment and management solutions. This new Sales Consultant role will drive growth by creating new apprenticeship opportunities and developing relationships across the Nicholas Associates Group. You will thrive in a competitive market, be resilient, energetic, and confident engaging with people online, by phone, and in person. This is a great role for someone looking to build a long-term career in business development. The role's primary geographic responsibility spans from Cumbria, Lancashire, Cheshire to Yorkshire, Lincolnshire, with additional national coverage and regular travel in line with client requirements.
What You’ll Do
- Generate, manage, and close new business opportunities to meet targets.
- Prospect through cold calling, online engagement, networking, and relationship building.
- Present confidently to stakeholders and maintain excellent customer satisfaction.
- Manage SLAs, opportunities, and client data via CRM, ensuring compliance.
- Build a strong pipeline and maximise cross-sell opportunities across the wider group.
- Support social media activity and marketing to enhance brand presence.
Service Support
- Assist during busy apprentice recruitment periods.
- Support onboarding, documentation, and compliance processes.
- Monitor Training Provider performance and contribute to apprentice reviews and reporting.
Experience
Essential:
- Knowledge of Apprenticeships, Levy, and WBL landscape.
- Proven B2B sales/business development experience with consistent target achievement.
- Strong presentation and relationship-management skills.
- Ability to use LMI to target markets and manage time effectively.
- Excellent customer service experience.
Desirable:
- CRM experience, knowledge of SFA funding, and marketing support.
- Sales experience in Engineering, Manufacturing, STEM, Digital, Commercial, Chemical, Logistics, or Education.
- Level 3 qualification, driving licence, and safeguarding awareness.
