Graduate Production Chemist Location: Daventry Salary: £28,080 Our Client primarily Manufacture flavour and fragrance (F&F) chemicals for use in the food industry. Their market is global and the business is consistently growing year on year. In this Role you\’ll be Manufacturing chemical products safely and efficiently, following process instructions and standard operating procedures and supporting production targets for quality, quantity, yields, and delivery. Responsibilities: · Operate equipment safely to produce chemicals to the required standard. · Follow SOPs and process directions; report unclear instructions to management. · Monitor raw materials and report shortages. · Complete accurate production and process records. · Liaise with Quality, R&D, and Maintenance teams to ensure smooth operations. · Prevent cross-contamination and minimise costs, waste, and losses. Hours: · 37.5 hours per week · 07:30-16:00 Monday to Thursday · 07:30-14:45 on Friday About you: · A Degree in Chemistry or Applied Chemistry · Enthusiasm and a desire to learn · Good team player · Experience of small-scale Chemistry at University or College Benefits: · 5% employer contribution pension scheme · 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays.
