Company Benefits: *Competitive salary *Pension *Bonus scheme *Private health care for employee and their immediate family *Life insurance *Gym membership *Hybrid working *Early Friday finish As a Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be required to undertake a design role on high pressure pipeline and plant systems, working to high engineering standards within the budgets and timescales set by our clients. Having been awarded at least a 2:1 (Upper Second-Class Honours) in a Mechanical Engineering degree accredited by the IMechE, you will be seeking to gain Incorporated or Chartered Engineer status. Your responsibilities will include: *Providing project control from initial approval through to commissioning and handover. *Ensuring agreed work-hour and cost targets are adhered to through effective project and financial control. *Preparing project plans and programmes to ensure work is carried out in accordance with company requirements, to meet and ensure client satisfaction. *Providing appropriate engineering designs in accordance with relevant company, client, national and international standards. Ensuring good engineering practices are maintained. *Preparing contract documentation for procurement of services and materials. *Evaluating tenders and providing recommendations for contract award. *Managing contracts and authorising invoices within allocated financial authority for payment. *Maintaining good client relationships to help secure continuing business. *Preparing estimates and technical input for proposals to prospective clients. You will be enthusiastic and conscientious about the work you produce, leading by example with good attention to detail.
