Our Client offers a dynamic and forward-thinking work environment at the forefront of rail infrastructure innovation. With a strong emphasis on cutting-edge technology, sustainability, and global collaboration contributing to safer, smarter, and more efficient rail systems worldwide.
Main Duties:
- Replace the instrumentation on the Break Test Rig
- Select a suitable National Instruments device (or equivalent) capable of driving a Pressure Transducer and a Rotary Optical Encoder, and displaying the two readings within LabVIEW
- Assist in creating and updating electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and documentation.
- Support the installation, calibration, and commissioning of new instrumentation.
- Conduct functional and performance testing to validate system accuracy and reliability.
- Ensure all work complies with relevant health & safety and industry standards.
- Provide technical reports and updates on progress to the project lead and stakeholders.
