Position: Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Technician
Shifts: Days only Monday to Friday
Location: Sheffield
Salary: £38,000
Mechanical bias preferred.
Working as part of a maintenance team responsible for maintenance activities on-site including:
- Mechanical fitting
- Fault finding
- Purchasing
- Installation
- Commissioning
- Site maintenance
Working on scheduled PPM's from a CMMS system. Respond quickly to any reactive production breakdowns. Ensuring continued supply of critical spares. Ensuring that the plant is running at an optimum level, minimising downtime, and achieving all internal maintenance demands in an effective and timely manner, in a way that minimises costs and maximises efficiencies. Achieve KPI's through the CMMS system.
About You:
- Apprentice trained in Mechanical engineering or very similar
- Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics preferred
- Methodical fault finder happy to work as part of a team
- Fabrication skills beneficial but not necessary
- Any basic electrical knowledge beneficial
- Assisting with projects e.g. machinery installation
