About the role

Are you an experienced Mortgage and Protection Adviser looking for a role with a competitive basic salary, no cold calling and outstanding earning potential? This opportunity provides exactly that.

You will be joining a well‑established financial services provider based in Swindon, with a strong advisory presence at the National Self Build & Renovation Centre, a nationally recognised destination for customers planning self‑build or renovation projects. This is a consultative role where you will meet customers at the beginning of their homebuilding journey, helping them with expert financial guidance.

We offer a competitive basic salary of £70,000‑£90,000 on‑target earnings. You will receive full administrative and packaging support and access to exclusive specialist products. All enquiries are warm and generated for you; there is no requirement for lead generation or cold calling.

What you’ll be doing

• Advising clients on mortgage and protection solutions for self‑build and renovation projects
• Meeting clients face‑to‑face onsite, as well as via telephone and video consultations
• Managing the advisory process from initial contact through to application and lender liaison
• Working flexibly, including Saturdays and occasional event weekends, to support client demand
• Representing the business at NSBRC exhibitions and seminars, building strong industry relationships
• Ensuring full FCA compliance, supported by an experienced central admin team

What we’re looking for

• CeMAP (or equivalent) qualified, with proven mortgage and protection experience
• Experience in specialist or self‑build finance is advantageous, but full training is provided
• Strong interpersonal and consultative skills, confident working independently
• Highly organised, proactive, and client‑focused with a passion for helping people
• Knowledge of protection products and ability to provide needs‑based advice
