A growing organisation is seeking a Compliance & Buying Coordinator to join its buying team, reporting into the Head of Buying. This role will take responsibility for ensuring compliance and quality control processes are robust, clearly documented and consistently adhered to across a network of reputable UK-based suppliers. Based in Swindon with hybrid working available 2–3 days per week in the office, this role offers a salary of up to £35,000 per annum. You’ll be part of a supportive buying function, working closely with internal teams and suppliers to maintain high standards and keep processes running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and maintain compliance and quality control processes across the buying function.
  • Ensure supplier documentation, records and processes are accurate and up to date.
  • Work closely with reputable UK-based suppliers to support quality and compliance standards.
  • Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to strengthen controls.
  • Support the Head of Buying with reporting, audits and supplier performance reviews.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure procedures are understood and followed.

Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience in compliance, quality control, buying, procurement or supplier management.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
  • Confident working with supplier documentation, processes and internal controls.
  • Ability to build professional relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to challenge where needed.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, process-driven environment.
