You’ll be leading the delivery of complex and beautifully detailed renovations, conversions, and new builds, managing every stage of the project on-site, from groundwork to final handover. About Build Twenty Two: We’re a high-end construction company known for creating beautiful, well-built spaces with care and precision. Refurbishments, barn conversions and bespoke new builds are our focus. Our team is passionate about quality, and we’re proud of the strong relationships we build with our clients.
The role is full-time and site-based, typically within one hour of Bath, with a salary ranging from £45,000 to £50,000 depending on experience. A company van is provided and there are no overnight stays required. Each project lasts 8–12 months, offering both variety and continuity.
Key Responsibilities:- Take full ownership of a single site from initial set-up to project completion.
- Manage the day-to-day running of the site, ensuring health & safety compliance and programme delivery.
- Coordinate subcontractors and trades, maintaining high craftsmanship standards throughout.
- Liaise with architects, clients and consultants, acting as the main point of contact on site.
- Monitor project milestones and budgets, reporting regularly to the Contracts Manager.
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and site communications.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Site Manager within the high-end residential or heritage construction sector.
- Comfortable working with exacting clients and design-led projects.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with a hands-on approach.
- Trade background (carpentry, bricklaying, or general building) preferred.
- Proficient in construction programming and site documentation.
- Living within easy reach of Bath, Wiltshire or the southern Cotswolds.
