Electrical Contracts Manager

A busy electrical contractor in Weston-super-Mare is looking for a reliable and skilled Electrical Contracts Manager. You’ll manage a mix of commercial and retail projects across the UK, including growing work in solar installations. The role involves taking responsibility for projects from the first enquiry through to completion, with support from a friendly and experienced team.

This is a full-time, permanent position based in Weston-super-Mare, with travel around the South West and across the UK. The role offers a salary of £50,000–£55,000 plus a company car. You’ll also get your birthday off, a healthcare cash plan after 12 months, extra holiday over time, and paid social and charity days.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage projects from start to finish, including surveys, quotes and handovers

• Handle paperwork like RAMS, test certificates and manuals

• Keep in touch with clients and make sure jobs run smoothly

• Organise labour and materials with the wider team

• Travel to sites across the UK (mostly day trips, with minimal overnight stays)

• Look after budgets and spot opportunities to add value

Skills & Experience:

• Qualified electrician (2391 Test & Inspection is a bonus)

• At least 5 years of experience in electrical project or contracts management

• Experience with commercial or retail fit-outs

• Some knowledge of solar installations would be helpful

• Good communication and organisation skills

• Based near Weston-super-Mare or Bristol
