The ideal candidate will have a background in hospitality and janitorial services, ensuring that our facilities are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. This role is essential in creating a welcoming environment for our guests and staff alike. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, ensuring all areas meet cleanliness standards. Dust, mop, vacuum, and sanitise surfaces as required. Replace linens and towels in guest rooms and ensure all amenities are replenished. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel. Follow cleaning schedules and checklists to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently. Adhere to health and safety regulations while using cleaning products and equipment. Assist with deep cleaning projects as needed, including seasonal or special event preparations. Qualifications Full driving license and own vehicle are essential for this role as travel upto 20 miles (compensated) may be required. Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is highly desirable. Familiarity with similar practices and cleaning techniques is an advantage. Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Excellent time management skills, capable of prioritising tasks effectively. A positive attitude and commitment to providing exceptional service.
