Niche Education Ltd are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to work in an SEN school in Darlington. A successful candidate will have worked as a teaching assistant in a school before or have relevant SEN experience in either healthcare or another sector which they can transfer over to an education setting. The school, based in Darlington, is a specialist provider for children with special educational needs. Children who attend this school will usually have a Statement of Educational Need or an Education, Health and Care Plans. The school are looking for enthusiastic, dynamic and resourceful individuals to join a dedicated and hardworking team of specialised support staff. They are looking for people who will enjoy being effective in supporting students with complex needs and who have an appreciation of the positive attitude required to encourage independence in their students.
