We are now recruiting for a Senior Youth Mentor to join our team and help us achieve these values.
Your Role as a Senior Youth Mentor:
- Support & Develop the Team: Assist the Team Leader in motivating, inspiring, and training staff to build confidence and professional skills.
- Lead by Example: Demonstrate integrity, compassion, and professionalism, setting a positive tone in the home.
- Provide Keyworker Support: Act as a Lead Keyworker, ensuring therapeutic sessions are engaging, creative, and tailored to each child’s development.
- Oversee Daily Operations: Step in for the Team Leader when required, ensuring a smooth‑running, well‑supported home environment.
- Create a Safe & Nurturing Environment: Work alongside your team to provide trauma‑informed care that helps children heal and grow.
- Safeguarding & Compliance: Prioritise child welfare by identifying safeguarding matters and responding swiftly.
- Build Relationships: Engage with families, local authorities, and external professionals to provide holistic care.
- On‑Call Support: Be part of the on‑call duty system, offering assistance as needed to ensure the home is well‑supported.
