Nicely Done Productions is a video, animation and storytelling studio working with brands including Amazon Business, Vodafone and Canon to create thoughtful, story-led content that sits well beyond typical corporate video. We are looking for a dedicated editor to join the team. This is not a camera op / editor hybrid role. This is for someone who specialises in editing and wants to spend their time shaping story, pacing interviews and crafting narrative from real footage.

If you have experience in documentary, factual storytelling, or editorial long-form work, this role will feel very familiar. This is a hybrid role, working 3 days a week in our Reading offices.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Editing long-form branded films, interviews and story-led content
  • Shaping narrative from interviews, b-roll and archive
  • Finding story, structure and rhythm from unscripted material
  • Working closely with producers and directors to make edits feel editorial rather than corporate
  • Creating multiple outputs from a single shoot (hero films, cutdowns, social, internal and external edits)
  • Managing projects from ingest through to final delivery
  • Finishing work to a high standard across picture, sound and pacing

What we’re looking for:

  • 3+ years professional editing experience
  • Strong portfolio that shows storytelling and interview-led work
  • Excellent instinct for narrative, pacing and performance
  • Highly proficient in Premiere Pro/Davinci Resolve (After Effects knowledge a bonus)
  • Comfortable working with large volumes of footage and finding the story within it
  • Experience editing for brands, agencies or broadcasters
