Overview: The primary role of the Subject Matter Expert (SME) is to facilitate business transformation and drive increased adoption of NICE solutions with NICE Trading clients. The SME is responsible for understanding the financial services market and highlighting key regulation, business processes and opportunities in the areas of trading practices.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Analyze and report on market opportunities that arise and detail how NICE can potentially address the opportunity.
- Work within the global sales force ensuring the growth of the market segment as well as assisting with all new opportunities and drive business to closure.
- Deliver value added consulting services in the area of trading compliance as well as improvement and business transformation within trading operations, leveraging knowledge of industry best practices and proven practices using NICE solutions.
- Deliver solutions ideas that create measurable value and leverage clients’ investment in NICE technology thereby improving ROI as well as profit for NICE.
- Interact with regulators to understand the challenges and changes in the regulation landscape and document how the changes will affect customers.
- Constantly interact with our customers, in the role of trusted advisor, helping educate them around our new offering while also spending time with them to understand their evolving challenges and react as needed from that education.
Education and Experience:
- Minimum of 8 years of trade compliance experience / detailed understanding of the trade operations within various markets; ideal candidate will come from a leadership role within diverse banking/trading environments and/or a trade floor consulting firm or trading technology company.
- Subject matter expertise in the areas of trading compliance, trade execution processes, trading operations function and processes; working knowledge of but not a focus on technical infrastructure.
- Business development experience focused on solutions with a significant services component.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Must be willing to travel extensively up to 50%.
- MBA preferred; BA/BS in relevant field required.
