Seeking a forward-thinking Controller for a leading high-tech public company to manage all aspects of the accounting of our subsidiaries. Must have strong accounting and finance experience and skills to have responsibility for the following:
How will you make an impact?- Manage the accounting function of our EMEA entities in accordance with US GAAP and UK GAAP, including Control accounts, General ledger, Cash management, Accruals, Inter-company etc.
- Perform monthly, quarterly and annual period end closing procedures
- Monthly reporting to the Company's Corporate Finance
- Oversee daily operations of financial activities and liaise with service providers
- Financial analysis of quarterly results
- Preparation of annual statutory financial statements and other reports to the authorities
- Work closely with auditors and tax advisors; coordinate and manage audits and SOX compliance
- Preparation of monthly/quarterly Tax and VAT filings
- Review and improve processes to ensure compliance and effective internal controls
- Assist with transactions including mergers, acquisitions, or reorganizations
- At least 3 years of post-qualification experience, high-tech company experience – an advantage
- Experience with Workday accounting systems - an advantage
- Familiar with US GAAP and UK GAAP
- Interpersonal and communication skills
- Team player, result driven, willing to make an impact and highly motivated
