Role Overview We are seeking a results-driven and self-motivated Area Sales Manager to join our UK sales team. Covering the Southwest of England , you will be responsible for developing business relationships, managing existing accounts, and driving sales growth of our gate, garage door automation solutions. Key Responsibilities Manage and develop a portfolio of trade customers, installers, distributors, and automation specialists across the Southwest region. Identify new business opportunities and convert leads into long-term customers. Provide product training, technical support, and sales presentations to customers. Promote new products, services, and system upgrades to existing clients. Maintain accurate CRM records, report on regional sales activity, and meet monthly and quarterly targets. Attend trade shows, regional events, and customer meetings as required. Collaborate with internal departments (technical support, logistics, marketing) to ensure excellent service and delivery. Key Requirements Proven sales experience, ideally within gate, garage, or door automation, access control, or a closely related technical/industrial sector. Strong understanding of electrical or automation products and their applications. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Highly motivated, able to work independently and manage time effectively in a field-based role. Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly within the region. Preferred Qualifications Experience in the automation industry (e.g., NICE, BFT, FAAC, CAME, etc.). Knowledge of CRM systems. Background in technical product sales.
