The Architecture & Data team sits at the heart of NICE's digital transformation, setting the direction for how data, analytics and architecture are used across the organisation. As a centre of excellence, the team defines standards, embeds strong data governance, and enables high-quality, impactful delivery. Working closely with teams across NICE, it supports responsible innovation and ensures data is used effectively to improve health and care outcomes.

Main duties of the job:

  • As a Business Data Analyst in NICE's Digital, Information & Technology Directorate (Architecture & Data team), you'll bridge business needs and data-driven solutions.
  • You'll work closely with stakeholders and multi-disciplinary delivery teams to turn complex questions into clear requirements, high-quality analysis, and actionable insight that support better decisions, service improvements, and digital transformation.
  • Analyse and interpret complex datasets to identify trends, risks and opportunities, translating findings into clear recommendations.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports (e.g., Power BI/Tableau) to support operational and strategic decision-making.
  • Work with stakeholders to define data requirements, KPIs and success measures, and translate these into user stories/use cases.
  • Investigate and clearly define problems (including root-cause analysis), assessing options, impacts, and benefits.
  • Facilitate workshops and stakeholder engagement, communicating confidently with both technical teams and non-technical audiences.
  • Support process improvement and effective change of delivery, including documentation, service acceptance/testing, and adoption.
  • Promote good data governance and quality practices, working in line with data protection and organisational policies.
  • Work autonomously in a changing environment, balancing priorities, and contributing to continuous professional development.

Job responsibilities:

To be considered for this role, you should be able to particularly demonstrate the person specification criteria in the job advert in your application. However, applicants should be able to demonstrate all essential criteria through the entirety of the recruitment process to be considered for the job.

Person Specification:

  • Education: Holds highly developed specialist knowledge and expertise acquired through a master's degree level or equivalent qualification/experience. Additionally, holds specialist knowledge of the relevant area(s) of expertise as outlined in the person specification, acquired through relevant practical experience and training/development.
  • Qualifications: Holds one of the following qualifications: DAMA certification; FEDIP Practitioner; IQBBA Certified Foundation Level Business Analyst.
  • Experience: Proven experience in a data-focused role supporting business decision-making. Experience developing and maintaining business intelligence dashboards and reports.
  • Skills: Extensive knowledge of methods, tools and techniques to analyse and optimise data flows to improve the quality of a product or service. Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex data and analytical findings to non-technical audiences. Knowledge of the selection and application of information elicitation methods, tools and techniques that are appropriate to the information required and the sources available.
