As part of NICEs transformation programme, we are at the start of our journey of developing a Talent Management Roadmap. The Career Development and Apprenticeship Adviser will be an integral role to the implementation of that roadmap. The post holder will develop, plan, implement and monitor apprenticeships, internal and external placements and career development/talent management projects, strategies and workstreams.
The postholder will lead on a range of apprenticeships, placement and career development programmes to develop existing employees, recruit and support new employees and support the implementation of new apprenticeships, placements and career pathways to develop the workforce for the future in line with NICE’s transformation journey.
- Supporting apprenticeship programmes to deliver high quality outcomes making maximum use of the apprenticeship levy and offer career and personal development opportunities to new and existing employees. Evaluate and celebrate programmes successes
- Co-ordinate and communicate apprenticeship programme plans and work with other team in collaboration across NICE
- Contribute to the widening participation agenda through placement schemes leading to employment and through local and regional networks and liaise with careers team on hard to fill posts suitable for apprenticeships
- Undertake learning needs analysis to help bridge the career gaps and identify progression routes for managers and employees
- Supporting the Talent Development Manager with the annual talent mapping process and supporting the implementation of development plans for high potential employees and succession plans
- Support the day to day management of placements, including placements between directorates and departments for existing employees, placements for existing staff into external organisations and unpaid placements into NICE
The People Team are responsible for all aspects of Human Resources. You will be joining a small sub team of 6 people who’s work focusses on organisational development, learning and development, talent management, culture development, equality diversity and inclusion and staff engagement.
