Store Manager in Gosport

The Role

NICE BOX is looking for an organised and practical Storeman to manage the day-to-day running of our

stores and ensure materials, components and tools are available when needed for production.

You will work closely with the Foreman and workshop team to maintain accurate stock levels, manage

incoming and outgoing goods and keep the stores organised and efficient.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day organisation of the stores and stock areas.
• Receive, check and correctly store incoming deliveries.
• Prepare materials and components required for workshop projects.
• Monitor stock levels and highlight items that need to be reordered.
• Maintain accurate stock records and assist with regular stock checks.
• Manage the issue and return of company tools and equipment.
• Check deliveries against purchase orders and report shortages or damaged goods.
• Prepare and organise outgoing goods and collections.
• Keep stores, storage areas and access routes clean, safe and organised.
• Work closely with the Foreman to ensure materials are available in line with production schedules.
• Help reduce material waste and maintain good stock control.

Skills & Experience

• Previous stores, warehouse, stock control or similar experience would be advantageous.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Comfortable using basic computer systems for stock recording.
• Practical and able to work in a workshop/manufacturing environment.
• Reliable and able to work independently.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Able to safely handle and move materials and equipment as required.

Forklift experience or a valid forklift licence would be advantageous
