Foreman Company: NICE BOX Limited Employment: Full-time Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience The Role NICE BOX is looking for an experienced, hands-on Foreman to oversee the day-to-day running of our workshop and help manage the production of our bespoke container conversions. You will work closely with management and the design team to organise the workshop team, coordinate projects and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard. Key Responsibilities • Organise and supervise the day-to-day workload of the workshop team. • Coordinate projects from drawings through to completed builds. • Work alongside the team and provide practical support where required. • Monitor project progress and help ensure deadlines are achieved. • Maintain high standards of workmanship and carry out quality checks. • Ensure drawings and specifications are followed correctly. • Identify and resolve practical production issues. • Monitor materials, tools and equipment and report requirements to management. • Maintain a safe, clean and organised workshop. • Support and develop members of the production team. • Provide regular project and production updates to management. Skills & Experience • Previous experience in a Foreman, Supervisor or similar hands-on role. • Experience within construction, fabrication, carpentry, manufacturing, fit-out or a similar environment. • Strong practical and problem-solving skills. • Ability to read and work from technical drawings. • Confident leading and organising a small team. • Good understanding of workshop health and safety. • High standards of workmanship and attention to detail. • Reliable, organised and able to work to deadlines. Experience within container conversions, modular buildings or bespoke manufacturing would be advantageous.
