Niamo Nails is a boutique nail salon in Bayswater, London, known for a high standard of finish, a warm client experience, and an excellent reputation with our regular clientele. We are looking to add a talented and reliable Nail Artist to our growing team.
The Nail Technician Role
We are seeking an experienced Nail Artist with a strong portfolio, a track record of excellent client reviews, and the ability to consistently maintain a high standard of work across all treatments. This is an ideal opportunity for a technician who takes genuine pride in their craft and wants to build a loyal client base within a supportive, professional salon environment.
Nail Technician Key Responsibilities
- Deliver manicures, pedicures, gel and acrylic extensions, and nail art to a consistently high, salon‑standard finish
- Carry out treatments safely and hygienically, in line with salon health and safety and infection control protocols
- Conduct thorough client consultations, including pre‑treatment health checks where required
- Maintain excellent client care standards, building rapport and encouraging repeat bookings and positive reviews
- Keep the workstation, tools, and treatment area clean, organised, and fully stocked
- Stay current with the latest nail art trends, techniques, and product developments
- Accurately manage appointment timings and maintain the salon's booking system (Fresha)
- Support the wider team and uphold Niamo Nails' brand standards at all times
What We're Looking For in a Nail Technician
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 (or equivalent) qualification in nail technology / beauty therapy
- Proven experience as a Nail Artist, ideally within a salon setting
- Excellent client reviews and a strong, verifiable portfolio of work
- A meticulous, consistent approach with genuine pride in maintaining a high standard of work
- Strong hand‑painted nail art and/or acrylic/gel extension skills
- Friendly, professional manner with excellent communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a small team
- Right to work in the UK
