We are launching a new domiciliary care service in Northern Ireland and are seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Manager to lead the service through registration and into successful operation. This is a unique opportunity to join at the ground level of a new business, where you will play a key role in shaping the service, building a team, and driving growth.
Start Date: Immediate / Negotiable with early involvement in registration and service setup, progressing to full-time at service launch.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the service through registration and ongoing compliance
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and care standards
- Recruit, train, and manage care staff
- Oversee rota planning and service delivery
- Ensure safeguarding, quality, and regulatory compliance
- Build relationships with stakeholders (families, professionals, commissioners)
- Prepare for inspections and maintain high standards of care
About You (Essential Requirements)
- Minimum 5 years experience in health & social care
- At least 2 years in a supervisory or management role
- Registered (or eligible to register) with NISCC
- Strong knowledge of domiciliary care operations
- Experience with safeguarding, compliance, and staff management
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
Desirable
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (or working towards)
- Previous experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager
- Experience with RQIA inspections and standards
- Full UK driving licence
