Part of a Finance Business Partnering Team, you will report to the Head of Management Accounts and will work closely with colleagues to ensure the delivery of a high performing, internal, customer facing finance service which proactively embraces change. As a Finance Business Partner, you will ensure the provision of high quality advice, information, analysis and interpretation to budget holders to underpin effective decision making, meaningful performance management and meet statutory requirements. You will achieve high customer satisfaction levels and make a real and demonstrable difference to the delivery of the company & business areas objectives.

- ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
- Have successfully completed the following professional examinations and be a member of one of the following bodies:
- The Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland;
- The Institute of Chartered Accountants in Scotland;
- The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales;
- The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants;
- The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants; or
- The Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy
- 2 years post qualification experience in a similar role OR 1 year post qualification experience plus 1 year water and sewerage industry experience in a finance role.
- Demonstrable experience of management reporting and business partnering.
- Demonstrable experience of financial planning.
- A proven ability to influence and build relationships at a Senior level.
- A proven ability to think strategically, anticipate problems and provide sound solutions.
- Advanced MS Excel usage, to include model development.
- DESIRABLE CRITERIA
- In the event of a large number of applications, candidates may be short-listed on the following desirable criteria:
- Commercial experience using Oracle Financial System and associated reporting packages.
- Experience of working in a regulated environment.
What is on Offer
- Salary: This Band 4 role offers a competitive remuneration package with a salary scale of £44,264 to £59,018 per annum (pay award pending). The starting salary will normally be at the first point of the scale. Salaries are reviewed annually effective 1st April.
