Basketball Northern Ireland (BNI)has announced an exciting opportunity for aCommunity Good Relations Co-ordinatorto join their team on a part-time basis. This role is central to the organisation’s mission of using sport to foster good relations across communities throughout Northern Ireland.
With funding support from theCentral Good Relations Fund (CGRF), throughThe Executive Office (TEO), BNI has continued to invest in its community outreach and development strategy.
Basketball NI’s Community Good Relations Programme has a strong focus on inclusivity and education. The programme is designed to promote positive engagement among young people from different backgrounds through the unifying power of basketball.
Key goals of the programme include:
- Expanding delivery of basketball-based good relations initiatives in schools across Northern Ireland.
- Increasing opportunities for young people to engage in good relations education and awareness activities.
- Fostering positive attitudinal change and cross-community understanding.
- Building sustainable partnerships within local communities to ensure long-term impact.
Job Title:Community Good Relations Coordinator (P/T)
Responsible To: Basketball Northern Ireland Chairperson
Salary:£26,000 pro rata (21 hours per week)
