Active Youth NI is a community interest company on a mission to get more children and young people active for their physical, mental and social well-being. We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable coaches with either a Level 2 qualification (preferred) or Level 1 qualifications around the Ards and North Down, and Greater Belfast areas.
Role and Qualifications
- Level 2 Lead Coaches (Fitness or Sports Coaching): You must be qualified to coach independently, without supervision, and have experience working with children.
- Level 1 Coaches: Some Level 1 qualifications (e.g. Hockey Ireland) also allow independent coaching. If your sport does not, we would still love to hear from you. Experience working with children in a school or club setting is highly desirable. We are also keen to hear from coaches who have experience supporting and coaching children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
