Active Youth NI Coaches

Overview

Active Youth NI is community interest company on a mission to get more children and young people active for their physical, mental and social well-being. We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable coaches with either a Level 2 qualification (preferred) or Level 1 qualifications around the Ards and North Down, and Greater Belfast areas.

Role and Qualifications

Level 2 Lead Coaches (Fitness or Sports Coaching): You must be qualified to coach independently, without supervision, and have experience working with children.

Level 1 Coaches: Some Level 1 qualifications (e.g. Hockey Ireland) also allow independent coaching. If your sport does not, we would still love to hear from you. Experience working with children in a school or club setting is highly desirable.

We are also keen to hear from coaches who have experience supporting and coaching children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

This role is a freelance opportunity, allowing you to choose hours that suit your needs. We have daytime, evening and weekend work on both during term time and holiday periods.
