Hours of work: Mon-Friday (40 hours weeks, flexi 7.30am-5.30pm), opportunity for overtime and need to be available to work the occasional Saturday.

The Role:

Our client is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sales Account Administrator to support their sales team within a large-scale food processing business. This role is critical in ensuring smooth day-to-day account management, accurate order processing, and excellent customer service for key clients across retail, foodservice, and distribution channels. The successful candidate will act as a central point of coordination between sales, production, logistics, and customers, helping to maintain strong relationships and ensure efficient delivery of products.

Duties:

  • Provide administrative support to Sales Account Managers and the wider commercial team
  • Process customer orders accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain and update customer account records
  • Act as a primary point of contact for customer queries, resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Coordinate with production, planning, and logistics teams to ensure on-time delivery of orders
  • Monitor order status, stock levels, and delivery schedules, proactively flagging any issues
  • Ensure compliance with internal processes, food safety standards, and customer requirements

Criteria:

  • 4 GCSEs and 2 years experience in Account Management
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Strong time management and organisational skills
