Electrical Design Engineers Dungannon Salary is open to negotiation and dependent on experience.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead development of electrical drawings, schematics and accurate BOM for Electrical Components.
  • Create technical documentation including work instructions, parts list, list of critical parts and maintenance components.
  • Provide mentoring and technical direction to development, helping to identify technical solutions to realize design.
  • Develop electrical products by studying customer requirements, researching and testing manufacturing and assembly methods and materials.
  • Develop manufacturing processes by designing and modifying equipment for building and assembling electrical components, soliciting observations from operators.
  • Working on R&D projects to expand the current product range and bring new products to the market.
  • Assures product quality by designing electrical testing methods; testing finished products and system capabilities.
  • Provides engineering information by answering questions and requests.
  • Maintains product and company reputation by complying with regulations.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Any other duties as required by the Line Manager to suit business needs.
  • Adherence to our ISO 9001 Quality management system.
  • Adherence to company health and safety procedures.

Role Requirements:

  • Must have an HND or equivalent in electronic/electrical engineering or relevant working engineering experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years postgraduate work experience in a similar design role.
  • Experience in schematics and software programming design using software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, EPLAN.
  • Ability to read and create detailed electrical drawings.
  • Detailed knowledge of current regulations and electrical design standards.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well independently and in a team.
  • Must have good technical drawing skills.
  • Must have experience of drafting to electrical standards.
