The Electrical Estimator role is an important position within the company’s growing Water division. Reporting to the Group Bid Manager, the role involves preparing accurate and competitive technical quotations, supporting projects from initial specification through to completion, and working closely with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enjoy the full life cycle of a project from initial specification to commissioning.
- Review client enquiry specifications to produce technical quotations for clients.
- Ensure quotes are reflective of the client’s business needs.
- Liaise with our design team and contracts managers to ensure accuracy of quotes.
- Liaise and help co-ordinate with all stakeholders on projects.
- Comply with all ISO Quality & Environmental policies and procedures, and all health and safety rules.
Essential Criteria:
- Ideally 3 years of relevant experience in a similar Electrical Estimator role; however, we also welcome applications from recent graduates with a strong interest in this field.
- Specific experience of LV or MV switchgear or associated products.
- Experience of PLC/SCADA integration and Instrumentation (ICA).
- Experience in a similar industry is desirable.
- Innovative approach to work.
Desired Criteria:
- Experience working with NI Water, Uisce Éireann or similar water utility companies.
- Knowledge of WIMES standards.
- Knowledge of BS7671 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
