The Role

Reporting to the CEO of the NI Hospice and acting as a key Strategic and Operational Partner, the postholder will have responsibility for providing insight and support to the development and implementation of strategic plans to deliver the charity's vision, mission and objectives.

They will be responsible for the strategic and operational management of critical business support functions of some 60 people. The functions within the scope of the role are Governance, Performance reporting and management, People and Organisational Development including Volunteer Services, Information and Communications Technology, Transformation and Estates services.

The Organisation

The Northern Ireland Hospice is a local charity offering specialist respite, symptom management and end of life palliative care to infants, children, and adults across Northern Ireland.

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 37.5 hrs per week, Monday- Friday

Location: NI Hospice, Horizon House, 18 O'Neill Road, Newtownabbey (will be required to work across other locations)

Reports to: Chief Executive Officer

We anticipate that interviews for this post will be held week between 30 May and 6 June 2025.
