The predicted salary is between 61673 - 64469 £ per year.

The postholder will be based at Goodwood House, 44-58 May Street, Belfast, however the Department of Finance operates a hybrid working policy which can allow staff to work between the office and remote working locations.

Construction and Procurement Delivery (CPD) is looking for an Estate Manager to join the Properties Division team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established team and to add value to this department. Properties Division is landlord for 81 government offices, and its role includes the provision, management and maintenance of the government office buildings and the Stormont Estate grounds. Properties Division also leads on the delivery of the NI Civil Service Office Estate Strategy.

The Estate Manager will be responsible for:

  • Driving the implementation of the Office Estate Strategy and managing the associated programme of capital projects, including refurbishment and deep renovation projects.
  • Contributing to the modernisation of the Estate through strategic asset management, planning, advice, support and input to relevant reform programmes, to ensure a rightsized Estate that is fit for purpose.
  • Management of property purchasing, disposal and leasing transactions, including end of lease dilapidations; oversight and coordination of appropriate legal, technical, valuation and financial input and leading on negotiations and liaisons with owners and agents.
  • Leading on exercises and issue resolution with regard to land and title matters.
  • Robust oversight and financial management of a significant capital budget (circa £12m per annum).
  • Prioritisation, management and oversight of Properties Division's programme for construction and capital maintenance to ensure best prioritisation and investment of available resource.
