The predicted salary is between 47304 - 49515 £ per year.

The post holder will report to the Grade 7, Financial Investigation & Business Support Branch, Environmental Crime Unit, and will be responsible for the daily management of financial investigations within the Branch. The role of this team involves conducting confiscation and money laundering investigations, and cash seizure/forfeiture investigations in support of Operations Branch and other units throughout the department who investigate incidents of environmental crime in order to bring offenders before the courts when criminal offences have been committed.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  • Hold and maintain a financial investigator accreditation by the National Crime Agency and hold Part 4 or Part 2 & Part 8 Proceeds of Crime Act (POCA) powers.
  • At least four years experience of carrying out and managing financial investigations.
  • A minimum of 2 years experience of effective leadership, setting strategic direction and managing resources to successfully deliver business objectives in a complex and changing environment.
  • A minimum of 2 years experience of building constructive, positive and collaborative partnerships with a diverse range of stakeholders, including senior management, to effectively deliver significant organisational objectives.
  • Have a full valid driving licence which permits the licence holder to drive in Northern Ireland and/or have access to a form of transport that allows the officer to fulfil their duties in full.
