The helicopter B2 Engineer is responsible for the maintenance of the helicopters. They will work in a team of engineers and report to the Maintenance Lead.

Responsibilities:

  • Comply with the requirements as described in the regulations;
  • Ensure that all line maintenance tasks carried out to helicopters meet the standard of the UK CAA and M.O.E. instructions;
  • Ensure, together with all Engineers, a variable and flexible work planning and work roster based on business needs that supports and realizes business continuity;
  • Ensure that all maintenance is completed within the appropriate time scales to ensure provision of a serviceable aircraft to meet the operational need;
  • Ensure, based on pilot and all other relevant information, daily problem analysis and problem solving;
  • Ensure briefing and debriefing of pilots and Maintenance Lead;
  • Ensure that PRF (preflight check) is performed;
  • Ensure, in cooperation with NHV Supply Chain, Store and support services that the necessary maintenance material and spare parts are present on site at the planned moment;
  • Report daily on the maintenance situation to the Maintenance Lead.

Skills & Experience:

  • UK CAA Part 66 B2 License;
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in aviation and as a licensed engineer is preferred;
  • Engineering experience in different aviation companies is a plus;
  • ICT literate (specific aviation software & MS Office);
  • Languages: English (professional level);
  • Knows & operates by the procedure and processes (operational, quality, safety …) installed by the company;
  • Good communicator: debriefing to pilots, flight crew and Maintenance Lead handover of work from/to previous/next shift;
  • Able to work independently when performing in a less controlled environment and to take initiative to improve work and complete tasks within appropriate time scales.
