An exciting opportunity has arisen for a health care support worker to join the Dunfermline locality District Nursing Team. You must have excellent organisational skills, effective communication and interpersonal skills, be a team player and have a genuine interest in working in the community.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver excellent evidence based treatment and care to house bound patients.
- Prevent unnecessary admission and support earliest possible discharge from hospital.
- Support the District Nursing Team across the Fife‑wide division and provide evening cover as required.
- Work within a 7 day, 24 hour Community Nursing Service, including weekends and public holidays.
Qualifications & Skills
- Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Previous community experience and phlebotomy skills are an advantage.
- Appropriate SVQ desirable.
- Right to work in the United Kingdom or eligibility to be sponsored.
