The Cancer Tracker / MDM Coordinator will work with clinical and non-clinical staff in our cancer multidisciplinary teams in the Surgical Directorate. The role includes providing cover during periods of leave or sickness.
- Work closely with all team members to ensure the timely movement and tracking of cancer patients from referral onwards.
- Identify barriers to patient pathways or potential breaches of waiting time guarantees and escalate appropriately.
- Assist in collecting, analyzing, and presenting audit data to monitor patient care.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary team meetings for cancer patients to ensure smooth and timely progression of their journey.
- Provide secretarial support to the Specialist Nurse team.
This role requires membership in the PVG Scheme or the ability to obtain one. Changes to criminal records checks may occur from 1 April 2025, and the role may be classified as a regulated position.
