NHS Lothian Pharmacy Services is recruiting an enthusiastic and highly motivated registered pharmacy technician to join our HEPMA team.

About The Role

This role will support the safe and effective operation of the CMM HEPMA system within NHS Lothian and The State Hospital, using a range of skills and knowledge. This role provides first line advice and support to staff using HEPMA, dealing with both user errors and technical problems. The role will support the training needs of teams across the service.

As part of a supportive team of pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, analysts and nurses, you will play an integral role in the maintenance of the HEPMA system to support safe and effective prescribing and medicines administration across the service. The post holder will also have opportunities to assist with benefits realisation projects. The post will be based at the team’s Royal Edinburgh Hospital office with opportunity for hybrid working and a sessional commitment to maintain skills.
