Redwell Medical Centre are looking to recruit a 6 session salaried GP, ideally on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. They will work as an autonomous practitioner, responsible for the provision of medical services to the practice population, delivering an excellent standard of clinical care whilst complying with the GMS contract. Furthermore, the post-holder will adhere to the GMC standards for good medical practice, contributing to the effective management of the practice, leading by example, maintaining a positive, collaborative working relationship with the multidisciplinary team. Main duties of the job A typical salaried GP will be on the standard BMA contract. A session will consist of 14 appointments, either telephone or F2F. The GP will have a registered patient list, associated admin and potential home visits. About us We are an EMIS web practice with approximately 12,300 registered patients living in the Wellingborough area and surrounding villages. We are a successful forward-thinking Practice with a track record of achievement. We are a practice of 4 Partners, 3 of whom are GPs and one is an Advanced Pharmacist Practitioner. We currently have 3 other salaried GPs, an Advanced Nurse Practitioner, 2 Nurses, 1 Nurse Associate and 1 HCA. We are well supported by a friendly administration team, Business Manager, Operations Manager, Office Manager and Admin Support Manager. We also work closely with the PCN (Primary Care Network) and use the services of a Pharmacist, Mental Health Worker, Paramedic Home Visiting Service, Physiotherapists and Social Prescribers. Furthermore, the post-holder will adhere to the GMC standards for good medical practice, contributing to the effective management of the practice, leading by example, maintaining a positive, collaborative working relationship with the multidisciplinary team. Person Specification Qualifications GMC registration Disclosure and Barring Service Check This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
