Are you a GP seeking a salaried position in High Wycombe? We are recruiting for a part-time GP (up to 6 sessions) and are able to support either someone new in their career or someone more advanced. You would join a team of 10 GPs supported by a great team of pharmacy professionals, nurse specialists, and a fantastic admin team. Our GPs are experienced professionals and able to support GPs new to the role. Equally, if your desire is to move towards a partnership role, we would love to hear from you. Please feel free to contact us if you would like to visit or speak to our staff or Partners to get a feel for our Practice. Main duties of the job We are recruiting for a GP to work up to 6 sessions. Sessions are mainly comprised of 15-minute appointments with most of our patients opting for face-to-face consultations. You will have the opportunity to utilise any areas of expertise that you may have developed or will be encouraged to develop this if you wish to. There is dedicated administration time each day, and the Practice has well-established clinical and administration support, such that most medicines management is completed by our Pharmacy team and some of our Docman letters are dealt with by our highly trained admin team, leaving you to focus on caring for our patients. We expect you to be competent or learn Emis Web and to actively support all the care processes identified by QOF and IIF for our patients. We have high achievement in these areas for our population. Depending on your experience and local knowledge, we would aim for you to take on some time as Duty Doctor, where you will triage more calls and be the ‘go to’ point for other staff. We expect the successful candidate to be a team player.
