As a Regional Senior Care Assistant with Barchester care homes, you will deliver warm, empathetic, and respectful care and support across a 20-mile radius to help our residents get the most out of life. You will monitor the delivery of care, contribute to care planning, record observations, and provide support and companionship to the residents.
Main duties of the job include providing support and companionship to residents, ensuring each resident enjoys meaningful one-to-one time with carers every shift. A background in care, understanding of elderly care, and a Level 2 NVQ in Health & Social Care (with a view to completing NVQ 3) are required. Compassion and dedication are essential to support residents' wellbeing.
As a Regional Senior Care Assistant, your duties include monitoring care delivery, contributing to person-centred care plans, recording observations such as temperature and blood pressure, and providing support and companionship. Every shift should involve meaningful one-to-one interactions with residents.
