NHS South East London Integrated Care Board In Lambeth, we are very fortunate to have 41 high-quality GP Practices, with a dedicated workforce who consistently achieve good clinical outcomes and satisfaction ratings. We also have strong at-scale provision and leadership through our 9 PCNs, our GP Federation, and our local LMC, who regularly show their enthusiasm and energy to get on with improving services for their patients. We are working with local people and partners across health social care and the voluntary sector to improve health and wellbeing for all of our communities. Our key priority is to develop closer integrated and collaborative ways of working with all of our partners to implement Fuller and Lambeth Together\’s Health and Care Plan. The Lambeth Primary Care Team is a key reason for this, having forged excellent long-term relationships across the local primary care system, and supporting Practices, PCNs, and the Federation to achieve their goals and deliver high-quality care for patients. Main duties of the job The borough is large and diverse, with a registered population of over 450,836 patients. It is a dynamic and varied primary care programme covering Primary Care Commissioning, PCN Development, Key Enablers, and playing an important role in developing strategy linked to the development of \”Lambeth Together\” – the borough\’s ambitious integration programme. We are seeking an exceptional candidate who will be a key member of the team, leading on a range of workstreams and projects as directed by the Head of PCN Development & Commissioning, ensuring all are managed, co-ordinated, and delivered effectively. The post-holder will support the Primary Care & Transformation team by working within the Lambeth Primary Care Team on all aspects of the ICB\’s Primary Care Transformation and development programme within the borough. We are looking for someone who will be a major contributor to the development and delivery, at pace, of transformed primary care services. Always striving for excellence, you will have significant recent experience in primary care, be adaptable and resilient when under pressure, and bring a growth creative mindset and experience to deliver service and system transformation. The post-holder will have a proven ability to work collaboratively within and across organisations. About us The South East London Integrated Care System (ICS) brings together the health and care partners that serve our vibrant and highly diverse populations resident in the London boroughs of Bexley, Bromley, Greenwich, Lambeth, Lewisham, and Greenwich – our Places. Our partnership brings together six local authorities, over 200 general practices (operating within 35 Primary Care Networks), Guy\’s and St Thomas\’ Hospital NHS FT, King\’s College Hospital NHS FT, Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust, South London and the Maudsley Mental Health FT and Oxleas FT. Importantly, the ICS seeks to be connected to the communities we serve (circa 1.92m residents) and work with the widest possible range of community, voluntary and third-sector groups and organisations in each borough. Person Specification Education Professional qualification relevant to project management or equivalent experience Experience Experience of monitoring budgets and business planning processes Experience of setting up and implementing internal processes and procedures Knowledge and experience in NHS Contracts, and Contract management processes, Performance Management, including GP Contracts Experience of project management Skills and Abilities Ability to analyse very complex issues where material is conflicting and drawn from multiple sources Ability to prepare and produce concise communications for dissemination to a broad range of stakeholders as required Excellent presentation skills for conveying complex and often sensitive concepts Confident – able to deal with individuals at all levels and in challenging situations Project Management and prioritisation skills and ability to proactively manage and work within tight resources and timescales Numerate and able to understand complex financial issues combined with deep analytical skills Highly developed oral and written communication skills to effectively deliver complex and often sensitive key messages and information, persuasively to a range of stakeholders both internal and external to the organisation, often at a very senior level Disclosure and Barring Service Check This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
